Chris Fisher - CPT

Born in 1986, Chris has always had a love for imaginative play and immersive storytelling. After 4 years at the Rhodes University drama department, he moved back to Cape Town in 2010 to pursue a career in performance. He has since been stretching his repertoire across many fields including film, television, theatre, voice and ‘street performance’.

On screen credits include ‘Blue Crush 2’, ‘Saints and Strangers’, ‘Black Sails’, ‘Raised by Wolves’, ‘Deep State’, ‘Endangered Species’, ‘Monster Island’, ‘Tali’s Wedding Diaries’, ‘House of David’, ‘Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die’ and ‘The Morning After’ among many others..

Theatre credits include ‘Charlotte’s Web’, ‘Shakespeare the Sadist’, ‘Bent’, ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’, ‘Hamlet Machine’, ‘Stilted’, ‘Heathcliffe Goes Home’, ‘Experiment with an Airpump’ among others.

He has endeavoured to expand his range far and wide, while maintaining a solid grounding in expressive play – which he uses to inspire a love for keeping our childlike sense of play alive and well in the world. He has most recently immersed himself in the facilitation of joy sharing sessions through The Up Org.

Chris is impassioned by the notion of celebrating our gifts as human beings and the inherent interconnectedness of our universe to create WIN WIN WINS: for ourselves, for those around us and for this beautiful planet we all have the privilege of inhabiting.

Chris currently lives in Nature’s Valley on the Garden Route, South Africa with his life partner and 2 children.
