Steven is a South African actor who is best known for his role as Dracule Mihawk in the Netflix live action adaption of One Piece – the best-selling manga series in history.

Having completed a Bachelor in Live Performance from AFDA, as well as training with several local and international coaches, Steven has appeared in several theatre and film productions including, Barefoot in the Park, The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Day We Didn’t Meet, and SAFTA award-winning film, From a House on Willow Street.

Making his television debut in the 2010 Amstel Class Act competition, placing 7th in South Africa, Steven has appeared in numerous commercials and is a regular on television screens worldwide, having played characters in South African telenovelas like Legacy; and international roles in Strike Back and Syfy’s, Vagrant Queen. Steven’s dexterity as an actor saw him cast in South Africa’s first commissioned Netflix Series, Queen Sono, portraying the role of a Russian mafia gangster, posing as a British philanthropist. In 2024, we saw Steven starring alongside Charlotte Hope in the drama Catch Me A Killer, available in South Africa on Showmax, The USA on Prime and the UK on Britbox.

The multi-talented Steven is highly sought after in the voice over booth, having worked with numerous commercial clients in South Africa. Steven’s voice brings a rich nuance to any script and he easy to direct in studio.

Behind the scenes, Steven worked as a Casting Associate/Director for +10 years giving him invaluable knowledge of what goes into the process of casting an actor for a project and thus helping him hone his own skills for all his on-camera endeavours.

Celia Ncalane, graduated from Wits University with an Honours degree in Bachelor of Arts and received distinctions in, Screen Writing, Drama and Education facilitation. Whilst a student, Celia represented Wits University as an actor, twice at the National Grahamstown Arts Festival.

She then began her career in 2006 as a presenter for 34 Degree's South on the Hope Channel for a year. The following year she worked behind the camera as a producer and scriptwriter for a production company that produced documentaries for Sabc 1 and 2.

In 2008, she was then chosen to be a presenter for a motivational program on Sabc 3, called ‘Stand-Up’. Since then she has acted in films, a television drama and comedy such as ‘Stokvel’ and over the past ten years she has performed in numerous commercials for South Africa and the rest of the African continent for brands such as MTN, Orange, Royco, Purity and others.

As a professional voice over artist, she has promoted brands, such as Clicks, Checkers, @Home, Homechoice and Woolworths just to name a few. She has especially enjoyed, working as a children's storyteller and presenter for SAFM from 2014 to 2016 on a show called ‘Nali Bali’.

A definite honour for her was being chosen to announce the passing of the first black President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela on national radio; for two weeks encouraging the country to reflect upon his life and the values he inspired in us all.

Celia is a Zulu women, who is cheerful, peaceful and has a driven, never give up attitude, behind and in front of the camera.

Ashley Taylor is a well known actor, comedian, and voice over artist, having featured in numerous local and international television series and films, from "Winnie" with Jennifer Hudson, to "Invictus" directed by Clint Eastwood, to a lead role in "Stander" opposite Thomas Jane. He has presented reality shows such as The Block and was one of the original leads in "Isidingo", has featured in "Binnelanders", and most recently in the KYKnetseries, "Spoorloos". On stage, he has performed in Janice Honeyman's hit production of "Hair, "Mojo" at the Market Theatre, as well as in the award winning musical "The Buddy Holly Story".

He has created, starred in, directed and co produced, in varying capacity, over 20 Outsurance infomercial campaigns, since the companies inception, and recently received a S.A.F.T.A nomination for "JouMa se Chef" a cooking show he conceived, co-produced and directed, in conjunction with Siv Ngesi, and Cheeky Media.

As a prolific voice over artist, he has done hundreds of radio, television and corporate voice overs spanning a 25 year career, as well as narration for award winning documentary and actuality programmes, locally and abroad.

He has designed and MC'd presentations, for major conferences like Cafe Africa in Mauritius, the FNB Annual Leadership conference, the Independent Electoral Commission conference, and has more than fifteen years experience as the writer and creator of corporate strategy projects, and change management initiatives for companies such as Vodacom, Cell C, ACSA, TRANSNET, the DTI, LRMG, ABSA, and The JD Group.

His familiarity with audiences everywhere, and his varied skill set in the acting and corporate spaces, in front of, and behind the camera, have made him a hit, with South Africans of every demographic.

Morena Mothupi is the Soweto-born-and-bred epitome of versatility.

A multifaceted broadcaster, with a colourful career in the media industry, Morena boasts an authoritative voice that lends much to any and everything that makes use of it.

Mokubung (clan name) started his sports broadcasting career in 2013 and since then has been a sports reporter, anchor and show host in radio, both regionally and nationally.

His work has enjoyed deserved recognition, receiving a SAB Sports Media Award in 2015 and a Liberty Radio Award nomination in 2017.

Morena’s radio prowess has translated to television broadcasting and there, he’s effortlessly anchored both sports and hard news on a national platform.

The MoSotho man is a qualified copywriter, who spent very brief time at Y&R, and it was through advertising that he was introduced to voiceover art.

Phathiswa Magangane is an up-and-coming singer/song-writer, voice-over artist, presenter and MC originating from the small town of Springs in Johannesburg. She currently resides in New York, USA after graduating with a BMus in Vocal Jazz Performance at UCT.

While at UCT, Phathiswa won the presenter search for Hectic-Nine9 and co-hosted the UCT YouTube show: You See TV. She also joined campus radio as a newsreader.

Phathiswa has entered and won her fair share of singing competitions since university including; the UCT Jazz Voices, The ArtScape Youth Jazz Showcase and the song-writing competition LiquiFruit #FeelFullyAlive, currently showcased on SA TV.

Phathiswa lends her cool, sophisticated voice to various brands as a voice artist. She is the consummate professional in studio and able to take direction well from agency and client.

Phathiswa is also featured on the musical intro track for ETV’s new drama series Harvest.

Msizi James

Msizi James, born in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, 29 years ago, is a DJ/MC/Radio Host currently co-hosting the 5FM Drive-time show with Thando “Thabooty” Thabete. With his signature loud mouth that’s bound to keep you entertained on the airwaves and his reputation for being affectionately known to his peers as the “King of Commercial”, he is one of the most versatile and hard working entertainers of the next generation.

His start in the industry seemed to come by fate after winning an East Coast Radio talent competition in 2014. Their search for new talent on twitter found them this young bright-eyed radio jockey and they quickly jumped on the chance to offer him a slot hosting the early breakfast show every weekday 4-6AM. It wasn’t long before his natural ability to engage with his listeners began to shine and he was offered the chance to host the popular weekend breakfast show every Saturday & Sunday. In 2016 he was cast as the presenter of The Big Brand TV show on ETV.

In May 2017 Msizi was offered prime time slot at 5FM and became the youngest person and the first person from Durban to host a drive show on a national radio station. Msizi Is also the new host of an Educational TV Game show called Hidden Science, which will air in 2018. Msizi is also the owner of a branding and marketing company called The Brandlab.

Msizi’s skill-set is not limited to entertaining thousands of radio listeners on a daily basis though. He also spends his weekends playing deep house and commercial music for club and festival goers across the nation. Having only gotten into DJ’ing by chance at a nightclub in Durban a few years ago when he was asked to fill-in for a resident DJ who happened to miss his set, he has since developed a deep love affair with the 1’s & 2’s and his energy behind them is evidence of this. His style of music is described as “feel good” - the type of music that makes you forget about your issues and forces you to lose yourself in the rhythm. With his background in radio he brings a keen ear to song selection and plays music that’s guaranteed to get the crowd going. This has also worked in making him extremely comfortable behind the microphone and has allowed him to host some of Durban’s biggest festivals and the country’s biggest concerts namely hosting The Lumineers, Chris Brown, even Michael Bublé.

Although his journey has been fairly short, he has managed to grow in leaps and bounds to get to where he is today and it’s safe to say the story of Msizi James has only just begun. His life’s motto is - Until further notice, celebrate everything.

After completing high school in Rustenburg, Blayze planned on pursuing a career in entertainment. His parents, worried about the stability of such a market, encouraged Blayze to pursue a degree at university first. He studied and graduated from a degree in B.Com marketing. He then pursued a career in the corporate world, although the calling for his true passion never wavered.

In 2009 he quit his job and initiated a journey for his love of music. After a short break overseas and short stints in other areas of entertainment, to learn the ropes of his chosen career, Blayze set up his own independent record label, ‘Blayze Entertainment’.

Transitioning from the music scene to doing voice overs has come with ease to Blayze. His voice is deep, rich and velvety and has a genuine and authentic tonal quality that lends itself perfectly to the conversational style that is currently in high demand.

With a varied background in all things entertainment, Kyle has experience in event production, television production, live and studio sound engineering and last but not least - Voice-Over.

Voice-over has been an integral part of his life from the young age of 11, where he had his first voice-over experience doing a pitch ad for a retailer during the Christmas season.

Fast forward 16 years, and he hasn’t stopped with his love for voice-over having joined the South African Voice Over Academy as the General Manager.

Zolile Nokwe grew up mimicking every advert he heard on TV. He sang along to the tag line of Joshua Doore 'You've got an uncle in the furniture business...Joshua Doore' and sneezed along with the fluey Penguin of Penguin Films at the end of each episode of Velaphi. He did this without reason nor desire to be a voice over artist and yet when he matriculated in 1999 he joined a community drama school in Cape Town and signed up with an agency.

Within a year, he had been cast on Generations and remained on the set for three years until he returned to Cape Town. Back in Cape Town after landing roles in a few foreign movies as an African rebel/soldier he made a decision to concentrate solely on voice over work and for the last 12 years has worked steadily with a vast clientele that includes some of the major four banks, SAB and Distel products, Discovery Chanel educational videos, the 2010 World Cup, CAF Champions League and various products specific to markets in Namibia, Botswana, Nigeria, USA, Canada and Australia.

Recently moved back to Johannesburg, he's still the ‘ad copy’ imitating little boy he was, eager to recite the 30 second scripts heard on radio and seen on TVs every day except with a 14-year career behind him now. ‘One-Take Zo’ is a formidable force on the microphone delivering quality performances each time he gets behind it.

Warren is represented as a Voice Artist by Owen S Management.

Warren Masemola is a South African actor and voice artist best known for his role as art director Lentswe Mokethi on the e.tv soapie Scandal!, in 2008.

He is also known for his starring role as gay neighbour Thokozani "Thoko" Chanel - Phumi's (Busi Lurayi) sidekick - in the SABC1 sitcom Ses'Top La.

He also played the role of Tizozo on the SABC1 drama series Intersexions (2010) and has had guest appearances on television series such as Isidingo and The Philanthropist.

Warren was born in Garankuwa, but grew up in Soshanguve. He matriculated from Reitumetse/Tshwane Christian School in 2000.

He realised that his love for the arts could be channelled into a career, so he enrolled at Moving Into Dance – an academy in Joburg's Newtown.

He studied there for a year, which was followed by two years of studying drama at the Market Theatre Laboratory, graduating from there in 2004.

Voice projects include a role in the Metro FM radio drama Chase and a radio show called Frank for Frank Talk. His theatre experience includes a musical directed by Fiona Ramsay (Spirit of Gerard Sekoto-Guga Mzimba), a European tour with Robyn Orlin in Dressed to Kill...Killed to Dress; and an operatic piece called When we peel off our skin...

He loves traveling, enjoys music and reading. His favourite television shows include Weeds, Shameless, Modern Family and Breaking Bad.
