Jennifer Steyn is a CAPE TOWN based artist.

Graduating from UCT in 1983, South African born Jennifer Steyn, is an award-winning performer with exposure both nationally and internationally and across various mediums. She is a teacher of voice and acting, a dialogue coach and has a special passion for the development of new texts and the advancement of young talent.

Currently on Television she can be seen as Ihred in the Sci-Fi series Vagrant queen, for Syfy and Blue Ice Pictures. In South Africa she is best known for her role as Mrs. Flemming in AboMzala, Marge in Madam and Eve and Deborah Churchill in The Fallen. Other TV highlights include: Origins for National Geographic, Madiba directed by Kevin Hooks, The Human Family directed by Mira Nair, The Principal directed by Roy Seargeant, Charlie Jade, directed by George Milhalka, and Jacobs Cross for The Bomb Shelter.

Ms. Steyn is also well loved for several commercials she has appeared in over the years, choosing to accept commercials that allow for performance value.

Most recent films were Kanarie directed by Christiaan Olwagen, Frank and Fearless directed by Gray Hofmeyer. Other film highlights include: The Forgiven directed by Roland Joffe, Restless by Edward Hall, Master Harold and the Boys by Lonny Price, Black Butterflies by Paula van der Oest, Good-bye Bafana by BilleAugust, Cry the Beloved Country by Darrel Roodt, Gums and Noses by Craig Freimond and End of the Road directed by Greg Latter.

And most recently in Marc Lottering’s Aunty Merle it’s a Girl.

Gina is a voice-over artist with over 6 years’ experience in the industry.

Graduating from Wits University with a BA in Dramatic Art in 2007, with majors in physical theatre and applied theatre, Gina went on to work as a freelance voice-over artist and choreographer, while also running drama and communication workshops for both children and adults.

In 2013, she had the opportunity to join an organization called Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator, which focuses on sourcing and preparing disadvantaged youth for employment with partner employers in entry-level jobs. Over the 5 years that she worked here, she specialized in workshop and online content design as well as workshop facilitation, with specific attention on helping young people to develop the essential skills and behaviours required in the workplace. Throughout this time, Gina continued her work as a voice -over artist.

Gina has now returned to being an independent contractor, freeing up more time to pursue her passion of doing voice overs. Gina is an easy-to-work-with professional, who can cover a range of vocal styles, from corporate & soft-sell to conversational & upbeat and friendly promos.

From the age of eight, the allure of acting got South African actress, Nicole Bailey, starry-eyed. After briefly schooling in the United States, a year in England, travel through the Middle East and a university degree from Stellenbosch University, Nicole decided to pursue her passion and dream of being on stage and in front of the camera. Not one to do things in half measures, she enrolled at City Varsity School of Media and Creative Arts in Cape Town and got working.

Her first serious role came in her second year when she was cast in a lead role in Wanuri Kahiu's post-apocalyptic short film, Pumzi, which went on to be selected at major film festivals around the world and won Best Short Film at Cannes Independent Film Festival 2010. In her final year, Bailey landed a role in South Africa's first 3D film, Dredd and a few months later acted in the Twentieth Century Fox teen thriller, Chronicle, which opened in cinemas worldwide in 2012.

Her first major role in television was Let Heaven Wait, a sitcom on SABC 3 in which she played a sassy young retirement home nurse/receptionist, and she was seen on our screens as “Vanessa” in SABC 1’s award-winning Intersexions. She has also played roles on Binnelanders, The Message and Mzansi Manje, which ran at the Joburg Theatre in 2012, as well as appearing in several commercials including CTM, Standard Bank and Bokomo.

Apart from acting, Bailey works as a Production Manager, researcher and creative assistant.

Carla Fonseca-Mokgata is a storyteller whose audacious and thrilling ideas have captivated audiences around the world. Hailing from the rich cultural tapestry of South Africa and Mozambique, she is a multi-disciplinary artist: director, writer, actress and musician. Graduating from the esteemed University of Cape Town in 2010, Fonseca has fearlessly dedicated her creative talents to exploring the historical and contemporary societal traumas of South Africa.

With an unwavering commitment to her craft, Fonseca has transported her storytelling prowess to numerous countries, leaving her mark on audiences globally. Her artistic footprint extends to places as diverse as Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Kenya, Uganda, China, South Korea, the UK, Brazil, the USA, Australia, Singapore, Poland, Indonesia, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and more.

Fonseca's magnum opus, the indie full-length dramatic feature film "Burkinabe," was shot amidst the landscapes of Burkina Faso. This cinematic experiment has graced film festivals in over 10 countries across the globe. In 2023 she was written and directed a feature film, licensed by Amazon Prime, which is slated for completion and release in April 2024.

Beyond her cinematic triumphs, Carla is a tireless advocate for cultivating a vibrant storytelling and artistic culture within South Africa. Her creative arsenal spans a diverse range of mediums, all meticulously wielded to achieve her visionary objectives. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences, the annals of African history, the richness of African traditions, and the unfolding tapestry of global affairs, Fonseca's creative energy finds its truest expression in the realms of Avant Garde theatre and thriller cinema.

As the Sunday Times once wrote "One of South Africa's exciting young contemporary artists, Fonseca is best known for producing thought-provoking, emotionally resonant, and daring artworks." Her contributions to the world of art are a testament to her unyielding dedication to pushing boundaries and crafting narratives that challenge, inspire, and captivate audiences worldwide.

Zinzi Zungu was born in the heart of Durban, where her television career began at the age of 16 as a regional TV presenter for ETV’s children’s show Craze. Zinzi performed in many corporate videos and also did voices for Craze and many different radio stations in Durban.

Her career didn’t stop there as her love for the arts saw her move to Johannesburg to attend the prestigious South African School of Motion Picture and Live Performance – AFDA. Zinzi has performed in a number of theatre shows, including "Pata Pata" at the Civic Theatre in Johannesburg and the musical "Le Shebeen" (directed by Deon Opperman), which toured to the Grahamstown Festival of the Arts and was aired on SABC2. From there Zinzi officially became the face of SABC3 when it re-launched a new brand image.

During that period she MC’d many gigs such as SA Fashion Week, the launch of the SABC3 drama series The Lab, and the J&B Met. In 2010 Zinzi joined the cast of the E-TV soapie Scandal in the role of Thokozile, a rural girl looking to get ahead in the big city.

Zinzi Zungu is a woman of many talents; actress, voice over artist, presenter and MC.

Zesuliwe Hadebe gained her acting experience at the University of Witwatersrand where she appeared in a couple of productions. Zesu then interned on Ukhozi FM on the Breakfast Show with DJ Sbu, from there Zesu has performed on camera in shows such as Generations and Home Affairs IV.

Zesu has used her acting and radio experience as leverage to expand her career to include a professional voice artist. Her English recordings can be described as having a rich, African tonality and she also delivers an authentic Zulu voice over. With Zesu's vast experience she is able to deliver in a wide range of styles, such as; conversational to hardsell and corporate to dramatic.

Born and bred in the city of lights Johannesburg, Thando had an insatiable desire to see her dreams become a reality, which saw her career begin at the tender age of 13. The realization that entertainment was her calling saw her star in various theatre productions before landing her first TV gig at the age of 14. This was merely the beginning of a revolution in the entertainment industry.

Thando discovered her love for radio at UJFM while at University of Johannesburg studying towards her Bcom Accounting degree, when asked she says, “Radio found me”. Thando found herself gradually making her mark on the airwaves. In 2010 she was head hunted by the YFM programs manager to join the biggest youth radio station in South Africa. Her Charisma and ability to connect with young people on a level many struggle to, saw her soaring from hosting a graveyard show to a primetime show in a matter of 6 months. Thando has since left YFM and joined 5FM in May 2014 where she was part of the afternoon drive show with Roger Goode giving us our daily dose of traffic, as well as hosting her own show "Beats By Demand" on Sundays between 10:00 & 14:00. From there Thando moved into the weekdays 10:00 – 13:00 slot hosting her own show, The Thando Thabooty Show, a year later she became the first female to host a drive time show on 5FM, The Thabooty Drive. In 2020, Thando moved to 947 and currently hosts The Drive with Thando on 947, weekdays 3pm to 7pm.

Thando Thabethe got her chance to move from theatre productions to on screen in 2010 when she landed the role of” Thando Nkosi” on the hit Sitcom “My Perfect Family” The show is ranked the 6th most viewed show and the 2nd most viewed comedy in SA with a viewership of over 3 000 000. The show went on to see a total of 3 seasons with Thando starring alongside legends, Lillian Dube, John Lata and Baby Cele.

Thando starred in the lead role of Nolwazi Buzo in the biggest soapie in South Africa, Generations- The Legacy, which boasts close to 9 Million Viewers and the lead role of Zinhle Malinga in the upcoming feature film Love Lives Here. Hosting her own talk show Thando Bares All on TLC, which highlighted the extraordinary ways people live their lives. Other highlights include REYKA and BLOOD PSALMS on MNET and recently How To Ruin Christmas- The Wedding in 2020 and the sequel The Funeral in 2021, a series for Netflix.

Thando Thabethe has been highly requested for her MC work for various activations, both corporate and commercial around SA since 2010. Most recently she was the choice for the biggest CSI concert in the world, CokeRockCore and the biggest Hip-hop event in SA, Maftown Heights. She has also had the honor to host the biggest award ceremonies in South Africa, namely, The South African Music Awards and the South African Film & Television awards.

Thoroughly involved within her community and very passionate about uplifting the girl child, Thando hosts motivational talks in which she sheds light on her path in the hopes of changing other people’s lives, she adopts young girls annually for national take a girl child to work day, and raises funds for abused women & children through her annual Thando Thabethe Women’s Day Netball Challenge initiative.

Thando Thabethe is an influential, ambitious young woman who represents a market of young, independent, educated, aspirational and stylish young men and women. With her feet on the ground, her heart on the pulse, there is no doubt that the sky is the limit.
